Iram City : Aad Dwellings

This is Iram City which was dwelt by Aad (عاد) that were mentioned in Quran (Surat El Fadjr, psalm 07 - Surat Ashuarae , psalm 149).
The city is located in Oman

Although these buildings are too old and were built centuries ago, we can notice how Iram and Aad people were developed at that time .They used the rocks(essakhr) in an architectonic way.

Their strength lead them to sin and was the cause of their disappearnce.
Allah left nothing of them except their dwellings
so as to teach us His ability to do what He wants
