Teachers decided to launch a program for special sessions to open discussion with pupils on the phenomenon of kids kidnapping, and the ways to face the danger and how to report it to security services if
it happened.
In the meantime, the union of Associations of Pupils’ Parents will organize a campaign of sensitization and awareness on the phenomenon that will start across all educational institutions after the
holidays, and will last until the end of the school season.
National secretary in charge of media and communication at the independent national council of secondary schools’ teachers, Messaoud Boudiba, told Echorouk, that the phenomenon of kids kidnap terrified
the society, because it is strange and its emergence with that way pushed all classes of society to ask many questions about its causes, which focus basically on the deterioration of morals and principals,
in addition to the absence of security and the spread of the policy of non punishment, therefore, the high authorities of the country are asked to take clear and deterrent decisions against kids’ kidnapers,
and to use a security policy to secure educational institutions as an urgent measure, in addition to treating the phenomenon from its roots by shedding light on the errors.
In order to spread awareness among pupils about the need to be careful, the official announced that CNAPEST will send a letter to all teachers across the country to program special sessions, and others
during the lessons to give instructions to pupils about the need to report on any danger through encouraging them to learn the culture of reporting on incidents between classmates, parents and neighbors, as
well as avoiding strangers.
