Farmers


In autumn, farmers must plough their fields. They turn up the soil to prepare it for sowing. Some farmers still use horses and oxen, but most of them use tractors. Now, a tractor is quicker. It can do three furrows at the same time. Farmers put the seeds in six boxes behind the tractor, and they fall into the soil.



Part one:

Section one: Reading comprehension : ( 07 Pts )

A) Read the text carefully then answer the questions: (03 pts)

1- What must farmers do before sowing?

2- What do farmers use to plough, now?

3- Are horses and oxen still used?

B) Read the text carefully then say: True or False (03 pts)

1- All the farmers use tractors. ________

2- Farmers never use animals. ________

3- A tractor is rapid. ________

C) Find in the Text: (01 pt)

Section two: Mastery of Language

A) Put the verbs between brackets in the right form: (02 pts)

2- I must ( help ) ………him in his garden.

4- The farmer always (have) ……..lunch in his farm.

B) Turn the following sentences into the negative form: (02 pts)
