First term exam - Tiaret

This is an exam paper prepared by my colleague ( her pseudo is nadia ) . She intends to use it this year with the pupils we teach in our school.

The first English exam

Level :Third year middle school.

Date: Wednesday,November 26^th ,2007.

The text :

Dear Amin,

I thank you for your letter and I hope you are fine .My father and I are in Algeria. We are visiting his friend Ali .He is a good man .He lives in Ilizi .It is a nice town. There are big hotels and restaurants .

Last week ,we went to see The Tassili ,there we met some Twaregues .They invited us to drink tea and eat hot bread.They were very polite and generous .I liked the town and the people .

I hope you will visit it too .See you next month in Alexandria .

This exam was prepared according to our pupils' level. They are too slow , if not weak, in English. We live in a rural area and we make much effort to teach English. Thank you Mrs. NOR
